Susan's
Flying Doves Questions and Answers
| Q. How are they able to find their way
home from where they are released? |
| A. Once the birds are released
they will circle the area, get their bearings
and then head home. It is their nature to want
to return home to their mates and offspring. |
Q. What happens to the birds after
they are released? |
| A. They return home to their
lovely and spacious aviary. As soon as they arrive,
they have to take a warm bath with their own special
bath salts which also keeps them beautifully clean
and white. |
Q. Do they always make it home? |
A. They rarely
get lost. They are well trained long before
being released.
One of the doves actually didn't make it home,
but 3 months later he returned, dirty, tired
and hungry. He hopped onto his own special perch
and soon after with a little R & R was back
on the wedding circuit again. He never gets
lost now. |

Once
upon a time..
There
was a little English school girl who loved birds.
Her mum bought her some white doves at a London
street market, and so it began..
Now..
An
ocean away from that little English village, you
can share her lovely flock of doves. |
